In 1987, the company diversified its operations by establishing a unit for manufacturing HDPE woven sacks. Subsequently, in 1995, it acquired 150 acres of land in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, and installed four windmills capable of generating one MW of electricity annually. Additionally, a new plant was set up in September 1995 to produce synthetic detergent bars/cakes with an installed capacity of 15,000 metric tons per annum.
In 1995-96, the company issued bonus shares in a 1:1 ratio. In April 1996, its new plant for manufacturing alkyl benzene sulphonic acid, with a capacity of 16,000 metric tons per annum, commenced production. During 1996-97, a Linear Alkyl Benzene Sulphonic Acid plant with an installed capacity of 16,000 metric tons per annum was commissioned. The expansion of the Ultramarine Blue plant in Ranipet by approximately 1,500 metric tons per annum was underway, with commercial production set to begin shortly. In 1997-98, the installed capacity of Ultramarine Blue was expanded by 1,500 metric tons.
The company amalgamated with Sri Narasimha Plastic Industries Pvt. Ltd. in 1999-2000 to enhance the efficiency and competitiveness of its combined HDPE business. Furthermore, during this period, the Ranipet units for ultramarine blue and detergent were awarded the ISO 9002 Certificate. The IT Enabled Services Division commenced operations in Chennai.
In 2000-2001, the company received the ISO 14001 Certificate for its Blue and Detergent Divisions in Ranipet. In 2003-04, the installed capacity of HDPE/PP Woven Fabric was expanded by 180 metric tons, increasing the total capacity to 900 metric tons.
In September 2008, the company invested Rs. 830 lakhs to commission two wind turbines of 800 kW each in Tamil Nadu. In 2010-11, two more wind energy generators of 850 kW each were commissioned at Rasipalayam in Tamil Nadu. In April 2011, land was acquired in Dahej, Gujarat, from Gujarat Industrial Development Corporation (GIDC) to establish a plant for manufacturing surfactants, pigments, etc., catering to the demand in Western and Northern India. Additionally, a new Wind Turbine Generator (WTG) with a capacity of 750 kW was commissioned in FY 2021-22.
