Established in 1972, Shree Krishna Paper Mills & Industries transitioned from a private entity to a public company in 1986. Prior to October 1986, it operated under its original name, Shree Krishna Paper Products Pvt Ltd. This versatile paper manufacturing firm specializes in producing a range of papers including Newsprint, publication coated papers, Electrical Grade insulating paper, Interleaving Kraft Paper, Carbonless Paper, and thermal sensitive papers. It has earned international recognition as one of the leading companies in its sector, predominantly supplying Coated, Uncoated, and Thermal sensitive Papers nationwide. The company also manufactures Paper, Coated paper, and Thermal Sensitive paper, alongside various types of coated papers such as chromo paper and art paper, marketed under the Senso Cote and Silver Cote brand names. In 1974, Shree Krishna Paper Mills acquired a paper unit in Bahadurgarh from Bansal Paper Mills, initiating a significant modernization program. Subsequently, the company expanded its capacity to 12,000 tpa. In 1989, it acquired Bhargava Papers Pvt Ltd, although the unit in Ghaziabad is currently non-operational. This expansion was initially intended to diversify operations, but the company later focused on consolidating activities at its Bahadurgarh unit, selling off the acquired unit. In 1995, Shree Krishna Paper Mills launched a Rs 4.37-cr public issue to finance the manufacturing of thermal sensitive paper, with a technical agreement with Hansol Paper, South Korea. Although the project faced delays in machinery importation, production commenced in 1996-97. Subsequently, the company expanded its operations, establishing a Paper unit in Kotputli, Rajasthan, in 2004. This unit utilizes 100% recycled fiber to produce various types of papers, with a production capacity of 40,000 TPA. The plant manufactures Industrial and Specialty Papers including Newsprint, Electrical Insulation Kraft Paper, Interleaving Kraft Paper, Color Kraft Paper, and Absorbent Kraft Paper. Additionally, in 2009-10, the company resumed production at its Keshwana Unit following modifications outlined in a Restructuring-cum-Enhancement Package.
