Incorporated as a Public Limited Company on March 25, 1994, Piccadily Agro Industries Ltd was promoted by Haryana State Investment Development Corporation, Piccadily Hotels Pvt Ltd, and their associates. They established a new facility at Bhadson, Haryana, with an initial capacity of 2500 TCD (tonnes of cane crushed per day) for white crystal sugar production and a co-generation capacity of 6 MW power.
By 2002-03, the company had completed the installation of semi kesener and boiler, and commenced operations in February 2002. Additionally, they expanded their crushing capacity from 2500 TCD to 5000 TCD at the Bhadson plant during the same period.
Commercial production at their ENA unit began on April 28, 2009. Further expansions included the implementation of a Malt plant, Maturation Hall, and an 8-ton boiler to support steam requirements for the Malt Plant, enabling the production of 10 KLPD Malt spirit for Indian made foreign liquor (IMFL) in November 2012. They also established a food-grade CO2 plant supplied by Wittaman of USA to utilize the byproduct of carbon dioxide generated during fermentation. Additionally, in the fiscal year 2012-13, Piccadily Agro Industries Ltd made M/s Clearvision Media (P) Limited its wholly-owned subsidiary.
In the fiscal year 2019-20, the company produced 2,417,044 bulk liters of Ethanol from Molasses, Grain, and ENA, which were supplied to various oil manufacturing companies (OMCs). Furthermore, in the fiscal year 2020-21, the company acquired the entire share capital of M/s Portavade Distillers & Blenders Ltd. in the UK, marking its entry into foreign markets and the establishment of a distillery in Scotland.
