In 1992, the company diversified into processing, packing, and marketing Amul Milk in Mumbai and its suburbs. Further expansion occurred in 2000-01 when the company began manufacturing rolled sugar cones for ice-cream filling at its Vithal Udyognagar unit in Kheda District, Gujarat. Commercial production commenced in January 2001, with a focus on high-quality components and cans for export.
Expanding its operations, the company entered into a food parlour business in partnership with Gujarat Co-operative Milk Marketing Federation Limited (GCMMF), resulting in the opening of 'Utterly Delicious' restaurant in Vashi, Navi Mumbai, in April 2002. In February 2003, it contributed to the inauguration of the first phase of the Delhi Metro Railway Service.
In its pursuit of growth, the company established a wholly owned subsidiary, Puma Properties Limited, on December 19, 2007. Significant infrastructure upgrades occurred in October 2011, with the completion of an oven installation at the Kanjari unit, followed by the installation of a new imported Printing and Coating Line Work at the same unit. Commercial operations for this machinery began in the third quarter of 2011-12 and further expanded in 2012-13.
Furthermore, in 2014-15, the company enhanced its production capacity for the Sugar Cone Division by installing a third machine at its Vithal Udyog Nagar Unit, increasing its annual production capacity to 1500 lakhs of cones.
