Established in February 1987, Jauss Polymers Ltd (JPL) stands as one of India's earliest manufacturers of Pet Bottles and Jars. The company specializes in job work and the production of pet jars/bottles and caps. Additionally, they are pioneers in the development and utilization of PP and PC through Stretch Blow Molding Process using Nissie Machines. JPL's journey began in 1989 with its inaugural plant in Kurali (Dist. Ropar), located 25 km from Chandigarh. Subsequently, in 1992, they commissioned their second plant in Surajpur, Greater Noida. Currently, all operations are centralized at their plant in Malpur, Baddi, Himachal Pradesh. Recognizing the versatility and food-grade nature of PET (Polyethylene Terephthalate), the company diversified into manufacturing various PET bottles, containers, and jars employing advanced Injection Stretch Blow Molding (ISBM) technology. Boasting 5 ISBM Machines from ASB Nissie, Japan, ranging from Model ASB 250 to the latest 70 DPH, JPL utilizes injection molds from Nissie and a range of blow shell molds to cater to different neck sizes. Noteworthy is their endeavor in weight reduction for wide-mouth containers, successfully reducing the weight of their 1.5 Litre Jar from 52gm to 35.5gm. The company shifted its Noida Plant to Baddi in 2001 with 5 machines dedicated to supplying Joyco (Wrigley) with over 2 million PET Jars per month. In February 1993, JPL initiated a Rs 4.25 Crore Public Issue to finance capacity expansion and the establishment of a solid-state polymerization (SSP) crystallizer for producing bottle-grade PET chips, with a total cost of Rs 5 cr. Product offerings include PET bottles and jars. In the fiscal year 2020-21, JPL transferred its Baddi Unit to Solan, Himachal Pradesh, along with all assets, liabilities, and employees, as a going concern to Innovative Tech Pack Limited through a Business Transfer Agreement (BTA) effective from 31.03.2021 for a lump sum consideration of Rs 1.7 Crores.
