Established in March 1991, Him Teknoforge Ltd (formerly known as Gujarat Automotive Gears Ltd) is a prominent manufacturer and supplier of high-quality Forgings and Machined Components, including Transmission Gears, Pins, Axles, Shafts, Assemblies, and more. With an installed capacity of 800 tpa, it specializes in producing transmission gears for HCVs, Ambassadors, and Jeeps, while also manufacturing steering pins and clutch shafts for tractors. Currently, it serves as an OE supplier exclusively for Mahindra & Mahindra's tractor division. Originating in 1982 with a Forging Unit in Baddi, Himachal Pradesh, the company expanded its operations to Vadodara, Gujarat, and Pithampur, Madhya Pradesh. The Vadodara Plant has undergone significant technological upgrades, including the commissioning of new machines in gear cutting and heat treatment areas in FY 2019, enhancing efficiency and output quality. Additionally, in 2018-19, the company merged with Gujarat Automotive Gears Limited, subsequently changing its name to Him Teknoforge Limited as per the Scheme of Amalgamation.
