Situated in Karnal (Haryana), its manufacturing unit boasts a cutting-edge, automated rice processing facility with a capacity of 12 metric tonnes per hour. Additionally, grading and sorting facilities are operational in Amritsar (Punjab) and Kandla (Gujarat). Employing advanced equipment, the company processes rice in-house using parboiled, raw, and steam methods to preserve its physical, aromatic, and taste characteristics.
Under its flagship brand "Maharani," alongside "Mithas" and "Begum," the company markets its premium basmati rice varieties. It also offers non-basmati rice under the brand "Green World Aromatic Rice" and introduces innovative products like "Maharani Diabetics Rice," "Basmati Rice Plus," and organic options such as "Maharani - Brown Basmati Rice."
With an extensive marketing network nationwide, the company distributes a diverse range of basmati rice, including the renowned "Maharani Super A" variety. Additionally, it supplies rice in bulk to recognized exporters, constituting indirect exports.
To finance expansion and modernization endeavors, Chaman Lal Setia Exports Limited conducted a public issue in March 1995, aimed at increasing existing unit capacity from 2 TPM to 4 TPM. The company inaugurated a new packing unit in Gandhidham, Gujarat, in April 2018. Listing approval from the National Stock Exchange Limited was granted on 10 May, 2021, and trading of company shares commenced on NSE from 12 May, 2021.
