Birla Corporation Limited, headquartered in Kolkata, India, is a leading manufacturer and distributor of cement in the country. The company operates in three main segments: Cement, Jute, and Others. Under its various brands, including MP Birla Cement Perfect Plus, MP Birla Cement Samrat Advanced, and MP Birla Cement Ultimate Ultra, the company offers a wide range of cement products such as ordinary Portland, Portland Pozzolana, and Portland slag cement. These cement products are widely used in the construction of bridges, dams, railway sleepers, reservoirs, industrial buildings, marine structures, cooling towers, metro lines, and airport runways.

Apart from cement, Birla Corporation Limited also manufactures and sells various jute products. These include jute yarn, floor and wall coverings, decorative fabrics, nursery cloths, jute carpets, and non-woven jute felts, among others. These jute products find applications in mats, yarns, ropes, bags, carpets, and panama.

Additionally, the company offers iron and steel castings and exports its products to various markets. Originally known as Birla Jute Manufacturing Company Limited, the company changed its name to Birla Corporation Limited in 1998. With a rich history dating back to its incorporation in 1919, Birla Corporation Limited continues to be a trusted name in the Indian cement and jute industries.
