Originally founded as a partnership enterprise, it transitioned into a public limited company in 1985. Initially focusing on textile and leather industries, it gradually diversified its product range, primarily centered around Ethylene Oxide.
Advance Petrochemicals Ltd.'s product portfolio encompasses automobile components, surfactants, amines, solvents, aircraft chemicals, fire-resistant fluids, and rubber goods. These products find application in a wide array of industries including automobile, aircraft, textile, refinery, crude oil, leather, pesticide, paint, lubricant, wood, masonry, food, cosmetic, pharmaceutical, metal, construction, power plant, mineral, and mining.
In 1995-1996, the company secured a significant order for the supply of 100 MT of brake fluid from Mahindra and Mahindra Limited. In 2001-2002, it developed a high flash point decing inhibitor for defense purposes, alongside introducing a perfuming product named Phenyle. Subsequently, in 2003-2004, the company fulfilled substantial orders for brake fluid supply, and in the same year, it introduced -65 Coolant and Flame-Proof Hydraulic Fluids catering to defense and mining industries respectively.
However, in 2006-2007, a major fire broke out within the company's factory premises due to an explosion in the distillation tank, resulting in extensive damage to the company's plant and significant stock loss, coupled with unfortunate casualties.
