On most of the 10 seats the BSP won in 2019, sitting MPs have either been expelled or moved to greener areas.
BSP has announced new candidates on these seats who are facing opposition from workers.
For example, Sangeeta Azad, the sitting BSP MP in Lalganj, has switched to the BJP, which has fielded Neelam Sonkar as its candidate from the seat. Sangeeta Azad and her supporters are working for Sonkar while BSP candidate Indu Chaudhary is short of workers.
In Nagina, BSP has transferred its sitting MP Girish Chandra Jatav to Bulandshahr.Jatav is the only sitting BSP MP who has been given the ticket. BSP candidate in Nagina is Surendra Pal Singh, who is being challenged by Azad Samaj Party's Chandra Shekhar on one side and SP's Mano Kumar and BJP's Om Kumar on the other side.
Danish Ali, the current BSP MP from Amroha, has joined Congress and I am contesting this seat on the Congress symbol. BSP has fielded Mujahid Hussain. The toughest challenge is coming from BJP's Kanwar Singh Tanwar.
In Ambedkar Nagar, sitting BSP MP Ritesh Pandey has joined BJP and I am their candidate from this seat. His father Rakesh Pandey, a SP MLA, has also joined the BJP.BSP has made Kalam Shah its candidate while S has made Lalji Verma its candidate. Verma is a former BSP leader.
In such a situation, BSP is facing challenge from its two former leaders on this seat.
In Bijnor, BSP has fielded Vijendra Chaudhary in place of its sitting MP Maluk Nagar, who lacks acceptance among the workers. Maluk Nagar's integrity is questionable as he has created a stir by praising the Modi government's Union Budget.

BSP has made Balkrishna Chauhan its candidate in Ghosi.
