New Delhi, Congress leader Kanhaiya Kumar has said that the ruling BJP is spreading the communal agenda of Nathuram in the name of Ram and said that individualism (individualism) is more dangerous than familism (dynastic politics).
Speaking to PTI editors at the news agency's headquarters here, he also said that an attempt has been made to minimize the contribution of the Gandhi-Nehar family.
Kumar claimed that the BJP was trying to diminish the greatness of Hinduism and said there was no scope for hatred towards anyone in the concept of Ram. Asked how the Congress and Indian factions would deal with it, many Believing that the wave over the construction of Ram temple in Ayodhya could benefit the BJP in the Lok Sabha elections, he said, "Why does Congress need to deal with it?" If there is a wave of Lord Ram in the country then there is nothing wrong in it, if there was a wave of 'Nathuram (a reference to Mahatma Gandhi's assassin Nathuram Godse)' in the country then I would be wrong."
“I think he has no role in the campaign that BJP is doing. Ram ji was in Treta Yug, BJP was formed in 1980.BJP is engaged in the work of how to deceive those people who believe in Ram, hence the name of Ram is taken but the work is done of Nathuram. BJP benefits from this game. '
He said this is against the country's history, culture and the future of the coming generation. Kumar said the concept of Ram is associated with people and places named after him in the country.
“You cannot limit it to one place. In other religions, a particular place has great importance, but in Hinduism all places are important and all gods are important.Rama is as important as Shiva, Vishnu and Brahma. That's why Hinduism is different from other religions," he said.
Criticizing the BJP, Kumar said that what has happened is that people who believe in Hindu religion are being deceived for political gains. He said, "An attempt is being made to diminish the greatness of the religion. Ram ji's There is no scope for hatred towards anyone in the concept."
He said that the entire Ramayana is about the way of living life and tells what is ethical and what is immoral. He said that Ram and Ramayana are not just in one form but in many forms. If you talk about Ramayana, then there are Tulsidas ji's Ramayana and Valmiki's Ramayana and many such stories which are different from ours, in this country. There are hundreds of other Ramayans... The culture and history of this country is linked to Ram. The only worrying thing is that by taking the name of Ram, Nathuram, division on the basis of communalism and identity is being spread as a political ploy, which It is dangerous,” Kumar alleged.
Kumar said Ram's name is from Treta Yuga, it is from before the birth of BJP and it will continue till the end of BJP.
On allegations of Congress being a dynastic party, he said such statements implicitly contain prejudice. “It is a prejudice and a deliberate attempt to ridicule the background of a particular family,” he said.,
"On the allegation of 'familism' on Congress, I would like to ask whether it is limited only to Gandhi-Nehru 'family' or it applies to other leaders also? If it applies to other leaders also then my direct The question is - till the time Jyotiraditya Scindia was in Congress, he was a 'parivarist', but as soon as he moved to BJP, he became a 'nationalist, socialist and unionist'? Kumar said.
He said, "Be it any field, from business to film industry to academia (it is there), either we are all 'familiarists' or if it is wrong, it should be wrong for everyone. It cannot be that Congress's dynasticism is wrong." And the BJP is right, Kumar said. Citing the examples of BJP leaders Ravi Shankar Prasad, Piyush Goyal, Anura Thakur and BCCI secretary Jay Shah, he said whether their father has been in politics or not, it is tantamount to dynasty rule.
He said the contribution of the Nehru-Gandhi family was being underestimated despite two Prime Ministers - Indira Gandhi and Rajiv Gandhi - sacrificing their lives for the country.
“In this day and age when people retweet for Congress at night and switch sides the next morning, two Prime Ministers gave up their lives. Why did Nehru need to stay in jail for 15 years, he was the son of Motilal Nehru. So the sacrifice and contribution of that family has been minimized,” he said. Kumar argued that 'individualism' is more dangerous than 'familism'.
"Modi ji decided that Shivraj Singh Chouhan will not be the CM, (former Haryana CM) Khattar Saheb slept as CM and woke up to find out that he is not the CM... Where are these decisions being taken? This nepotism. "Worse than." Individualism is more dangerous because a single person takes all the decisions," he said.
On the point that he is interested in contesting from Begusarai again, but the seat is not with CPI in the alliance, Kumar said that one always wants to walk on the path that one has walked before."When I first came to Delhi I was nervous... so the fear of the unknown is always there. In your native place, you have an emotional connect and you get comfort. But as far as the political fight is concerned , I don't think so. "I don't see myself being confined to a particular place," the Congress leader said.
Asked about RJD supremo Lalu Prasad and Tejashwi Yadav opposing his candidature from Begusarai due to insecurity, Kumar said he was not such a big person that the former Deputy Chief Minister of Bihar, whose mother and father were both chief ministers, could meet him. Will be scared.
He said that for him politics is about causes and issues. He said, “If the party asks me to contest elections, then all 543 seats are equal for me."
