Hyderabad: A two-and-a-half-year-old girl was mauled to death by stray dogs while playing outside an under-construction apartment building in Gayatri Nagar near here.
According to the police, the victim and her sister were attacked by two dogs when they were playing at the construction site where the children's father, a native of Chhattisgarh, is working.
The incident is of 12th April.
The child was rescued and taken to a local hospital. However, due to the severity of the injuries, he was referred to another government hospital here where he was declared brought dead.
He said that a case has been registered and investigation is ongoing.
In a similar tragic incident, a one-year-old boy was killed by a pack of stray dogs in Shamshabad near here in February this year when the child's father and other family members were sleeping in their hut.
