Jamshedpur: Party national vice president Laxmikant Bajpai on Saturday claimed that Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership and the strength of BJP's booth level workers will help it win more than 400 seats in the Lok Sabha elections.

BJP's in-charge for Jharkhand, Bajpayee said that the party's booth level workers in Jharkhand will be ready in the next three days to ensure victory on all 14 Lok Sabha seats in the state.

He said that as far as election preparations are concerned, the party is not lagging behind in any way and due to the charismatic leadership of PM Modi and the strength of booth level workers, BJP will achieve its target.

Bajpayee was in Jamshedpur to attend the foundation day celebrations of BJP.

Asked about the "displeasure" within the party over the selection of candidates for some seats, he claimed it was the work of some political forces who were spreading misinformation.

On JMM leader Kalpana Soren's allegation that her husband and former Chief Minister Hemant Soren has been implicated in a false case, she said that she is like her sister and the opposition makes such allegations before the elections.

“If you are involved in corruption you will have to go to jail but do not involve the tribal community in this because they are very honest,” he said.
