Hyderabad, Maharashtra dominated the National Masters Table Tennis Championships, winning 46 medals including 11 gold and 10 silver as its paddlers made a clean sweep of the men's over 50 category.

Manish Rawat won gold in the men's 50 plus category, while Malaykuma Thakkar and Prasad Naik won silver and bronze respectively, with the Maharashtra trio securing all three podium positions.

Maharashtra's Sunil Babras, one of the country's star players of yesteryear, retained the gold medal in the men's 60 plus category, while Prakash Kelka won the silver medal in the men's singles 65 plus category.

Ulhas Shirke won the gold medal in the men's singles 70 plus category.

In the women's category, Munmun Mukherjee won the gold medal in the 50 plus category, while Sushma Mogare won the bronze medal.

Suhasini Bakre got silver medal in 65 plus category.

In the team event, Maharashtra's Satish Kulkarni, Shivanan Kundje, Suha Dandekar and Balkrishna Katdare won gold in the men's 70 plus team event, while the state won a silver medal in the men's 75 plus team event.

In the women's 65 plus team event, Maharashtra's Rajeshwari Mhetre, Ujjwala Bhanuda Sutar and Rohini Sahasrabuddhe won gold medals, while both the 40 plus and 50 plus women's teams had to settle for bronze medals.
