The Election Commission on Sunday announced that 69.72 per cent voting was recorded during the elections held on April 19 for 39 Lok Sabha constituencies in Chennai, Tamil Nadu.
According to "end of poll data uploaded by the concerned returning officers" released by the Election Commission of India, Dharampur recorded the highest turnout of 81.20 percent.
Central Chennai recorded the lowest turnout of 53.96 percent.
