Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said on Monday that after Ayodhya and Varanasi, now it is the turn of Mathura.

Addressing an election rally here, he said, "The turn of Kashi and Ayodhya is over. Now it is the turn of Mathura. The wait for these two (Ayodhya and Varanasi) is already over. Now, we are waiting for Mathura." Are trying."We are moving forward there and it will start from Kurukshetra."

The Chief Minister was apparently referring to the construction of Ram temple in Ayodhya and redevelopment of the Kashi Vishwanath temple corridor in Varanasi after the Supreme Court verdict. Courts are also hearing temple-mosque disputes in Varanasi and Mathura.

Campaigning for BJP's Kurukshetra Lok Sabha seat candidate Naveen Jindal, Adityanath described Kurukshetra as "Dharmakshetra" and said it was the land where the Mahabharata battle was fought for justice and truth.

“For me, it is important to come here because I come from Ayodhya, the land of Lord Ram. We ended the 500-year-long wait there (referring to the Ram temple construction).From this holy land (Kurukshetra), Lord Krishna gave a message 5,000 years ago. I must go to Mathura with a message from this holy land."

Adityanath criticized the Congress on the issue of corruption and claimed that during the UPA rule at the Centre, there were daily reports of scams and terrorist attacks. But things have changed now because of the strong government at the Centre, he said.

The BJP leader said Pakistan also now knows that this is a "new India" which does not harm anyone but does not spare anyone who casts an evil eye on it.Adityanath said, "During their (Congress) time, the morning would start with news of scams and by evening there would be news of terrorist incidents. This was a daily affair."

He said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, India's prestige has increased globally and the country's borders have been secured. The UP Chief Minister said, PM Modi gave the slogan of "Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas" and he served the country with this mantra.

He said that there should be no place in this country for those people who eat and live in India but sing praises of Pakistan."I tell those who are pro-Pakistan, they should go to that country and beg. There is no place (for them) in India."

Adityanath said, "India is giving free ration to 80 crore citizens, but Pakistan cannot arrange two meals a day for its people. And those who talk about Pakistan should be sent to Pakistan. "

He also addressed election meetings in Sirsa and Chandigarh during the day.At the Chandigarh rally, Adityanath attacked the Aam Aadmi Party government over the law and order situation in Punjab and said that his government in UP has reined in the mafia.
