New Delhi: The Israeli Embassy on Wednesday said it cooperated with Indian security forces in conducting a joint security exercise aimed at countering potential future security threats.

This drill was conducted in Delhi last week.

The embassy said the exercise saw the participation of various agencies including Delhi Police, National Security Guard and local emergency services.

Israeli envoy Naor Gilon said the joint security exercise is an important milestone.

He said, "This joint security exercise with Indian security forces is an important milestone. We express our gratitude for their efforts."

Gillon said, "These collaborative exercises strengthen our countries' cooperation in security and defense and reinforce our shared commitment to global stability. We remain steadfast in our determination to foster continued cooperation for a safer world." Are."

The embassy said the primary objective of the exercise was to assess the readiness of the security forces to effectively counter potential future threats.

"Participants practiced response strategies to potential terrorist incidents in day and night sessions held at the Israeli Embassy in New Delhi," I said.

"Specific units of participating agencies were activated in the simulated scenarios, while Delhi Traffic Police managed traffic control in the surrounding area," it said.

"The exercise served as a platform for both the Israeli and Indian armies to refine their coordination, communication and operational procedures, thereby strengthening their joint efforts against terrorism," the embassy statement said.
