Ranchi, Jharkhand Congress in-charge Ghulam Ahmed Mir said on Saturday that opposition party India will win all 14 Lok Sabha seats in the state.
Speaking to reporters after the review meeting, Mir said the candidates for the remaining seats have almost been finalized and their names will be announced soon.
Mir reviewed the party's preparations with district in-charges, Lok Sabha coordinators, general secretaries and others.
Voting will be held in Jharkhand on 13 May, 20 May, 25 May and 1 June.
"If Congress comes to power, we will fulfill the promises made in the manifesto. We are confident that we (India Bloc) will win all the 14 Lok Sabha seats in Jharkhand," he said.
As per the initial seat-sharing agreement, Congress will contest seven seats, Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (5) and RJD and CPI(ML) one seat each.
On Chatra Lok Sabha seat, which was also claimed by RJD, Mir said there was no dispute. He said, "Congress will contest elections on seven seats in Jharkhand." pt san san mnb
