Nagpur: At least five workers were killed in an explosion at an explosives manufacturing factory near Nagpur city on Thursday afternoon.
The incident took place at Chamundi Explosives Pvt Ltd in Dhamna village under Hingna police station area, about 25 km from here.
Speaking to the media, Nagpur Police Commissioner Ravindra Singhal said, "At least five people died...the entire factory was gutted."
A local police official said the blast occurred at around 1 pm when workers were packing explosives.
