Nagpur, A police constable allegedly committed suicide at the Unconventional Operations Training Center (UOTC) in Nagpur on Saturday. An officer gave this information.
Mangesh Maski (35), belonging to Group 4 of the State Reserve Police Force, shot himself with his service rifle at around 5 pm, Wadi police station officer said.
"He was on deputation at UOTC, an anti-Naxal training facility of Maharashtra Police. Sitting on his chair, he placed the rifle on his chin and the bullet was fired. The bullet passed through his skull. He died on the spot. happened." The officer said.
Maski is survived by his wife, who is with Nagpur Police, and two children.
