Mullanpur: The success of unknown players in the ongoing Indian Premier League is down to self-confidence and the rigors of domestic cricket, said Punjab Kings cricketer Shashank Singh, who made another statement while batting against Sunrisers Hyderabad here.
Chasing 183 to win, Shashank scored an unbeaten 46 off 25 balls and along with Ashutosh Sharma (33 off 1 ball) achieved another big feat for PBKS, but the team missed out by just two runs on Tuesday. Went.

Shashank said that the success of IPL is largely linked to the progress of domestic cricket.
"The way we play in domestic cricket. Nitish and Ashutosh have done well in Mushtaq Ali, Vijay Hazare and Ranji Trophy, also for Angrish," Shashank said during the post-match press conference.
“You can say these players are unknown, but they are well-known players in the domestic circuit.He performed well in the domestic circuit and his performance in the IPL is the result of that (hard work). Samad said, "Last year Nitish played traditional shots but this year he is completely different. He has prepared well. Everyone had faith in him and that is why he was promoted.,
