- Sharadiya Navratri Anusthan: Celebrating the festive spirit.
Navaratri is one of the major festivals in Gujarat. It is a time dedicated to the worship of Devi, who symbolizes the omnipresent energy. The festival signifies that the prosperity we experience in our daily lives is a reflection of Devi, and the act of Devi Puja is a way to show reverence to the entire creation through expanded consciousness. Devi is honored in nine forms known as 'Nava Durga'. The significance of each day of Navratri is associated with a specific form of the Divine Mother. The Sharadiya Navratri Anusthan is an annual nine-day celebration held at the Shri Hari temple in Sandipani, located 5 km away from the city of Porbandar. The Shri Hari Mandir, which has been Bhaishri's vision and dream for many years, took 13 years to come to fruition. With the contributions of numerous experts and under the guidance of Bhaishri, the temple now stands as one of the most magnificent and unique temples in Saurashtra. During the Anusthan, there are recitations of Holy Mantras, a nine-day Ramcharit Manas Path by Pujya Bhai Shree, Maha aarati, and Satsang in the afternoons. Devotees also partake in the Dandiya Ras program organized in the temple's Courtyard. The main objective of participating in this Anushthan is to temporarily let go of worldly activities, engage in deep meditation, and connect with spiritual energy. Fasting, meditation, prayers, and other spiritual practices carried out during this period help achieve profound inner peace. The overall spiritual journey is enriching and joyful with these activities at the temple.
