The Jal Mahotsav event takes place in Hanuwantiya, Madhya Pradesh every year from December to January, while the Tent City is held from November to February. This festival offers a rejuvenating experience for the body, mind, and spirit. The closest airport to Hanuwantiya is Indore, which is just a three-hour drive away from the Madhya Dweep islands. If traveling by train, one can get off at Khandwa, located 50 km away. Hanuwantiya is well connected to Indore, Bhopal, and Khandwa by road. The Jal Mahotsav features a spacious Tent City spread over 10 acres, consisting of 100 luxury tents. Each tent is positioned 8 feet apart and is beautifully decorated with comfortable interiors for a pleasant stay. The festival also offers a dining hall serving delicious meals, sit-out gazebos, an indoor sports room, conference facilities, a kids' entertainment area, a variety of water and air sports, a food bazaar, a crafts bazaar, a wellness center/spa, and captivating cultural entertainment each day. In addition to the adventure activities on water, land, and air, various cultural programs are also organized during this festival.
