Cultural Festival and Summer carnival

The Cultural Festival and Summer carnival at Mahu Valley, District Ramban on 14th and 15th of October, 2023 is being organized by the Directorate of Tourism, Jammu in collaboration with District Administration, Ramban. Maho-Mangat in District Ramban is blessed with breathtaking natural beauty, including pristine forests of fir and deodar trees, meandering streams and rivulets, vast grassy meadows, and a snow-covered mountain peak in the background. It truly appears as a picturesque valley painted by God's hand to visitors from outside. The region is actively considering rural tourism, with a special focus on promoting home stays, local art, culture, and cuisine. It has the potential to attract a large number of tourists and generate local employment, thereby uplifting the socio-economy of the region. This location offers a wide range of activities such as trekking, hill climbing, river crossing, and night camping. Its scenic beauty, star-filled night sky, and stunning natural landscapes make it a dream destination for nature and adventure enthusiasts.
